Why we picked it

What convinced us is the position: the only beds inside the park, a short walk from the rim, so sunrise over the hoodoos needs no drive in the dark, and one of the darkest night skies in the country right outside. We would book a Western Cabin for its fireplace and porch, enjoy an evening without TV, and dine by the stone fireplace after the Navajo Loop.
